We understand that meal times are an important part of our resident’s days. It often provides a perfect time for socialising with other residents as well as receiving a healthy, nutritious meal. Each individual has the choice to dine alongside other residents in our dining rooms, or privately in their own room.
Our highly skilled chefs use fresh, seasonal ingredients to create a menu of delicious, nutritious food to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Our catering team consult with our residents on a regular basis and are able to cater for people with specific dietary requirements.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner plus everything in-between
Our chefs always use fresh ingredients to prepare delicious, nutritionally-balanced meals:
- The day starts with a choice of cereals, toast, cooked or continental breakfast served at a time of your choice.
- At mid-morning we offer tea, coffee and a snack.
- A range of hot and cold dishes are on offer at lunchtime.
- Afternoon tea is often served with freshly made cakes, pastries and scones.
- In the evening we offer a wide selection of hot and cold meals.
- Evening and night time snacks are also available.
Our chefs are used to catering for a variety of dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan or on a medically-advised diet to manage a health condition. We will work hard to satisfy the resident’s needs and offer a delicious, varied menu.
We also cater to specific cultural cuisines and religious diets. We speak with every resident about their needs and put together a menu based on their tastes and preferences.
We serve tea and coffee throughout the day and night. Cold drinks are also available and fresh water or juice is placed in your bedroom every day.
Our residents are welcome to sit and enjoy a drink with their visitors and we are happy for our residents to bring alcoholic drinks into our home, as long as there isn’t a medical reason why alcohol should be avoided. A pre dinner Sherry is offered every Sunday.
Our passion lies in simplicity – great seasonal ingredients from local suppliers, cooked with care and presented with flair.
With a background in fine dining, my aim is to achieve balanced and appealing dishes, without pretentiousness. We aim to home-produce as much as possible – for the best quality, and to reduce “food miles”. Our delicious cakes, scones, bread, soups, sauces and accompaniments are produced in our own kitchens – and we use herbs from our gardens when in season.
